Community

Waldron and Associates' involvement in the communities in which we live and work strengthens our relationships with those communities, builds our understanding of their needs, and demonstrates our shared commitment to improve the quality of life for all of us. Our associates are active, caring citizens, participating in local civic organizations and events for community improvement.

At Waldron and Associates we believe in giving back to our community and using our experience in major project management, financing, telecommunications and IT consulting and technology deployment to assist in economic development, job growth and many other efforts.

Here are a few of our volunteer efforts:

  • Coleman Park: We were involved in a 2010 initiative within West Palm Beach to revitalize and redevelop Coleman Park. Coleman Park was created in the early-1900's during the era of segregation as the first African American community within West Palm Beach. Katherine Waldron worked closely with the Mayor's team, non-profits, local businesses and residents on job training, economic development, fundraising and many other projects to assist in the improvements of this community. Please see the video of the Coleman Park Healthy Food Cookout.
  • ACTION-PAC: In addition, Katherine Waldron and some of her local colleagues, have created downtown West Palm Beach's first Political Action Committee. This PAC (the Area Coalition to Improve Our Neighborhood PAC) is focused on supporting those local politicians (regardless of political affiliation) who best understand the unique needs of the downtown area. Katherine serves as the Chairman of the five member board. Membership is comprised of local businesses, residents and others with an interest in this vital area of West Palm Beach. Please see our West Palm Beach TV YouTube video.

  • Other Efforts: Tracy Rickett is heavily involved in the city of Alexandria, Virginia and leads several boards including chairing the Budget and Fiscal Affairs Advisory Committee for the City and holds the past chairmanship of the School Board's Advisory Committee. He manages a number of local elections within his community.
